Extended Family Studio Photoshoot: Capturing Connection and Generations
Sometimes, families want a more intimate, focused way to capture their bonds—without the distractions of an outdoor setting. That’s where a studio session comes in. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a family that brought together three generations: two parents, their adult daughters, and one son-in-law.

Even though there were no kids in this session, the energy and love in the room were palpable:
Natural Interaction: I encouraged small gestures—holding hands, gentle touches on the shoulders, leaning into one another. These little movements create depth and intimacy in the photos.
Classic Poses: Simple, natural poses work best. Sitting together, standing side by side, or casual hugs can all tell the story of your family’s connection.
